Moose Knuckle Handmade Leather Goods is a one-man shop based in the San Francisco Bay Area. My name is Michael Palladino, and I’m lucky enough to share life with my beautiful wife and our two daughters, who mean everything to me.

I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. By trade, I’m a full-time commercial plumber with Local 38 in San Francisco, and leatherworking started as a simple hobby after my everyday belt finally gave out.

Instead of buying another one, I decided to make my own. One project turned into another, and before I knew it, that hobby became Moose Knuckle Leather Goods.

The Craft Behind Every Piece

I’ve loved leather for as long as I can remember — probably since getting my first baseball mitt as a kid. There’s just something about it: the smell, the feel, and the character it develops over time.

Good leather only gets better with age, and I think that’s what makes it special.

Every piece I make is cut, stitched, and finished by hand, one at a time, using premium leather and traditional methods. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just honest craftsmanship and gear built to be used every day and made to last for years to come.

My style is rugged, clean, and simple — timeless pieces that look even better the more they’re carried and worn.
